MOTIONS 25/26 AGM.

This motion proposes that the Club begin a formal member-led process to consider changing the Club’s name to better reflect its current community, geographic footprint, and future direction. The motion recognises the Club’s significant growth across the Churchlands district and surrounding western suburbs, while ensuring members remain central to the decision-making process through consultation and a future Special General Meeting vote.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

📅 AGM Details

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Subiaco Marist Cricket Club Inc will be held as follows:

• Date: Friday, 29 May 2026

• Time: 6:30 PM

• Location: Subiaco Marist Clubrooms, Newman College, Churchlands
   

📜 Invitation to Members

All eligible voting members of the Club are formally invited to attend the Annual General Meeting.

In accordance with the Club Constitution found HERE, members who are financial are entitled to attend, speak, and vote at the meeting.

 

NOTE- “Members must be financial (all fees paid) prior to the commencement of the AGM to be eligible to vote.”

Members are strongly encouraged to participate in this important forum to:

• Review the Club’s performance over the past year

• Consider financial and sub-committee reports

• Elect the Executive Committee

• Vote on submitted motions

• Contribute to the future direction of the Club

The AGM will include the following business:

• Confirmation of minutes from the previous AGM found HERE

• Apologies

• Reports (Financial and Sub-Committees)

• Election of Executive Committee members

• Correspondence

• Notices of Motion

• General Business
   

🧾 Member Participation

Members wishing to participate are encouraged to:

• Confirm attendance via the AGM page

• Submit motions in writing prior to the deadline

• Appoint a proxy if unable to attend
   

All submissions must be made in accordance with the Club Constitution and within the specified timeframes.

• A minimum of 14 days’ notice is provided for this meeting in accordance with the Constitution

• Only eligible members may vote at the AGM

• Proxies must be submitted prior to the commencement of the meeting

• Members must have satisfied any outstanding fees to be eligible to vote
