🏏 About Woolworths Cricket Blast
Woolworths Cricket Blast is Cricket Australia’s official entry-level program, designed to introduce children to the game in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment. At Subiaco Marist Cricket Club, Cricket Blast provides kids aged 4 to 9 years with an exciting first experience of cricket, focusing on developing fundamental movement skills, building confidence, and fostering friendships. With sessions led by enthusiastic coaches, kids participate in action-packed activities and games that teach the basics of batting, bowling, and fielding, preparing them for their cricket journey ahead while ensuring every session is full of energy and smiles.
This year we welcome an administrator to help out with the cricket blast program. They will focus on scheduling, registrations, communications, participation, and on the day support.
We will have food trucks again this year and we are sourcing down some different varieties.
At this stage we are alternating the food trucks and sausage sizzle. We are also going to offer free sausage sizzle for all (until all gone). Your feedback is important so please let us know how we are going.
We are making Friday nights even better and we look forward to your feedback.

🏃♂️ Woolworths Cricket Blast (Ages 4–9)
Woolworths Cricket Blast a parent lead program and is Australia's entry-level cricket program, designed to introduce young children to the game in a fun and safe environment. Utilising the CA Coach App kids gain confidence over a 12 week period to develop their skills in a fun interactive and team building environment.

Mini Blasters (Ages 4-5):

Focus on fundamental movement skills and basic cricket techniques.

Emphasis on fun, participation, and skill development.

Sessions include games and activities tailored for young children.

Junior Blasters (Ages 6-7):

Focus on fundamental movement skills and basic cricket techniques.

Emphasis on fun, participation, and skill development.

Sessions include games and activities tailored for young children.

Master Blasters (Ages 8+):

Transition program introducing modified games. Smash Series cricket if the coach if confident running it.

Team managers and Coaches nomination to be nominated before commencement date

Season Commences: Friday the 23rd of October. All Fridays until the 4th of December

Note that team manager and coach club shirts will be ordered as soon as confirmation of all team manager and coaches are declared. This means there will be a delay in receiving these shirts.
