Grants

We’ve Applied for the Australia Post Community Grant!

Subiaco Marist Cricket Club is excited to share that we have applied for the 2025 Australia Post Community Grant.

This funding would help us:

  • Launch our new girls’ cricket program, providing equipment and resources to support their development

  • Deliver training and mentoring for our youth and volunteer coaches

  • Strengthen mental wellbeing, inclusion, and community connection through cricket

We know we would be very lucky to receive this grant, and any extra funding through Australia Post would be incredibly helpful in bringing these goals to life.

However, it’s important to note that if we do not receive this grant, our plans will still proceed in some capacity with the help of WA CRicket and their support. We remain committed to creating a club where everyone feels welcome, supported, and able to thrive – from our youngest Blasters to senior players.

Stay tuned for updates on this exciting opportunity and how it will help us build a stronger future together.

Grassroots Cricket Fund Application

Subiaco Marist Cricket Club is excited to share that we’ve applied for the 2025/26 Grassroots Cricket Fund, proudly supported by WA Cricket. Our application focuses on providing more equipment and resources to support the growth of girls’ cricket, junior cricket, and our new Social Smash Series.

The funding will help us purchase new kits for our fast-growing Woolworths Cricket Blast program, provide fresh gear for junior teams, and run inclusive social cricket activities that bring the community together. With player numbers already on the rise, this grant would ensure every participant—especially girls and first-time cricketers—has access to safe, high-quality equipment and a fun cricketing experience.

We’d like to thank WA Cricket for their letter of support and look forward to seeing how this funding can strengthen cricket opportunities for families across our community.
