🏏 Become a Junior Cricket Coach

🌟 Join Our Team of Coaches at Subiaco Marist

At Subiaco Marist Cricket Club, our junior cricket program thrives thanks to the dedication of our volunteer coaches. Coaching is a rewarding way to stay involved with cricket, give back to the community, and make a positive impact on the lives of young players.

🤝 Why Become a Junior Coach?

✅ Support and guide kids as they learn and enjoy cricket
✅ Build stronger connections within the club community
✅ Develop leadership and communication skills
✅ Access Cricket Australia’s training resources to enhance your coaching confidence

📝 How to Become an Accredited Coach

Subiaco Marist Cricket Club strongly encourages all junior coaches to complete a Cricket Australia coaching accreditation course, ensuring the best learning environment for our players.

🔗 Step 1. Register for a Coaching Course

Visit Cricket Australia’s Community Coaching Registration page to:

  • Register as a coach

  • Complete the Introduction to Coaching course (free online module for entry-level coaches)

  • Progress to higher accreditation levels as your coaching journey continues

⚠️ Club Encouragement

To maintain the highest standards of coaching and child safety, the club encourages coaching accreditation for anyone coaching a junior team. (We will look to seek WA Crickets help in running a few workshops for potential coaches as well). This ensures:

✅ All coaches are trained to deliver age-appropriate sessions
✅ Player safety and wellbeing are prioritised
✅ Coaches have the confidence and tools to teach effectively

💡 Support for Our Coaches
