Junior Coaching

The SMCC Future Coaches, Stronger Juniors Program creates a pathway for young adults aged 18–21 to develop their coaching and leadership skills while supporting our Stage 2 and Stage 3 junior teams. Participants complete the Coach360 Silver qualification and required working with childrens certification before commencing and gain valuable experience coaching, mentoring and inspiring the next generation of Subiaco Marist cricketers. In recognition of their volunteer contribution, approved participants receive free senior cricket registration and may be considered for a discretionary end-of-season honorarium of up to $500. Community donations through our Australian Sports Foundation campaign will help fund coaching accreditation, child-safeguarding education, Working With Children requirements, coaching resources, club apparel and ongoing mentoring. By supporting the program, you are helping SMCC recruit and develop quality volunteer coaches, strengthen the connection between junior and senior cricket, and provide safe, enjoyable and sustainable programs for our growing cricket community.
