$350 door prize from the nights sponsor Fridgy (https://fridgy.com.au/) Fridgy is also donating over $1500 worth of prizes and gifts. We are having auctions during the night and prizes to win. There will also be best dress and fashion parade during the night.

One of the most iconic nights on the SMCC calendar is back.
SMCC Stakes Night has been a club tradition for over 30 years, and it’s a night built on suspense, banter, and a little bit of luck.
Here’s how it works:
• 6 races
• 6 horses per race
• Horses are auctioned before each race
• Winning bidders become owners and head into the Owners’ Tent to cheer their jockey home
• Horse movement is decided by two dice — one selects the horse, the other determines how many spaces it moves across the 6 × 30 race grid on the floor
Each race winner progresses to the 7th and final race, where one horse takes all and wins the cash prize. The cash prize is determined on how much all the horses are auctioned off for and a portion goes to the winning horse and the owners.
Syndicates are encouraged, so rally your mates, pool together, and back yourselves.
